- Job Title: Academic Officer
- Contract type: Full-time;
- Location: Dream Station, Udic N04 Hoang Dao Thuy, Trung Hoa, Ha Noi.
- Remuneration: Depending on experience (From 700$-1000$).
JOB OVERVIEW
To build and develop resources/tests for different English levels based on the Cambridge and TOEFL test format and to ensure that the quality and content of the resources/tests fit with the levels on CEFR.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- CREATING TESTS
- To construct and develop tests (e.g, YLE Cambridge: Starters/Movers/Flyers; KET, PET, TOEFL Primary, TOEFL Junior, ect.) following the vocabulary and grammar that matches each CEFR level.
- To ensure the quality of such tests following the format of each test and make sure that the content and the questions of the tests match with the assessment criteria.
- To cooperate with the Art team and work with Recorders & Studio to create the elements needed for the tests, such as pictures and audios.
- TEST MATERIALS CONSTRUCTION
- To build and expand the learning resources/materials for all test levels.
- To create articles on the website that help students prepare for the tests, tips and tricks to get good scores on the real tests.
- ADDITIONAL TASKS
- Work with the Dev team and Art team to develop new functions, or new features.
- To do research and get the newest information about the updates of the tests, or other English certificates that benefit students.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in English Pedagogy/ English Linguistics from renowned universities
- At least 1-year teaching experience in Teaching English for kids/ Test Preparation/ English courses for students.
- Experience in learning course designing/lesson planning for various English courses is an advantage
- IELTS Writing 7.0+
- Good knowledge in educational technology tools and teaching assistance technological tools
- Strong computer skills in Office tools, presentation & design platforms
- A passion for high-quality teaching and learning
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
